Appropriations: Process of determining where money is allocated in Texas’ biennial budget As "Enrolled": A status to indicate a bill that has been voted out of both chambers in identical versions and is heading to the Governor for his signature or veto As “Engrossed with amendments approved by the other chamber”: A status to indicate a bill that has been voted out of its respective chamber (House or Senate) and has been amended by the other chamber Chamber: Referring to either the House or Senate Chamber Committee: Subgroups by certain subject matter area where bills are referred to & heard for testimony As “Engrossed”: A status to indicate a bill that has been voted out of its respective chamber (House or Senate) As "Filed": A status to indicate unamended legislation as it was originally filed.
